Last week saw us fill up our cigar cases and head over to Ibérica Canary Wharf for the launch of their summer terrace with Purobeach club. (We hear terrace – we come running)
After attending the opening of Ibérica La Terraza last summer, we had to come back to experience it all over again.
To complement the evening Purobeach’s resident DJ had been flown in that day to take to the decks for a Purobeach signature style set, whilst guest enjoyed canapés from Ibérica’s summer menu along with Purobeach’s signature electric lemonade which is a delicious mix of gin, Chambord liquor and fresh lemon juice.
Purobeach has quickly become a regular name for us through their amazing beach clubs around the world and incredible albums they release. We even checked out the Purobeach Palma beach club and hotel last year and had a great time.
We caught up with Oscar who is ‘The man in the know’ and he teased us with big plans for the end of the year with Purobeach Dubai so watch this space for more info.
Kicking the evening off we grabbed ourselves a cocktail and a chair and kicked back to the deep house being played.
As we lit our cigars (of course we did) we could feel we were in for a good night.
Purobeach’s signature electric lemonade was being served throughout the evening and not normally being a gin drinker, the cocktail as Pedro (operations director and cocktail extraordinaire) put it, was a way to mask the gin taste yet complement and release the flavours offering a great experience that even a non gin drinker would enjoy. #Agree!
The canapé’s flowed through the evening and while guest mingled under the Mediterranean lights, you couldn’t help but feel you were on holiday in Spain. The staff were on hand to help and take orders and ensure customers had a great night.
We would recommend Ibérica’s summer terrace for a night of drinks, tapas and of course cigars. We did spot a humidor on the bar so you may even be able to purchase cigars there, but they are happy with you bringing your own.

The party in Palma on 28th June will feature live music from some of the world’s best music acts including Crazy P as well as decadent cocktails and delicious Mediterranean food, the party is set to attract a mix of Palma’s stylish locals as well as Purobeach’s network of friends and family.
