It’s that time of year again, folks! The much anticipated Cigar Smoking World Championships is back in London for the regional qualifier. You’ll remember we covered last year’s event at Voltaire.
This year follows the same format, bound to be an awesome event again at the new venue, The Hyde Bar in The Park Tower Knightsbridge (www.thehydebar.co.uk) on the 22nd June 2016, where 25 aficionados will battle it out to keep their cigar lit the longest. Competitors receive one match to light their cigar. Lighting again, setting the cigar down, or blowing on the cigar are all disqualification offences. The winner will be invited to the final representing the UK, to be held in Split, Croatia between 2nd-4th September
CutTheCap’s own Ethem will be amongst the competitors this year so if you fancy pitting yourself against us and the best of the best, competitor tickets are priced at £65.
The event will be hosted by the delightful Marko Bilic, president and founder of the Cigar Smoking World Championships and Club Mareva (www.clubmareva.com).
And, in true aficionado fashion, the after-party promises to be the party to be at, with wine, canapes and cigars (of course).
To enter and purchase tickets contact the wonderful Lalla Kaur (lallakaur@live.co.uk) and don’t forget to head on over to www.clubmareva.com to find out more!
