Way Out West Festival (Sweden)

Way Out West brings you the best of Europe’s rock, electronic and hip-hop music offering in Sweden’s capital of music, Gothenburg.
Born eight years ago out of the Swedish city’s bubbling underground music scene it embodies and highlights the innovating spirit that inspires many of this years performing artists.

What They Say…

The three-day festival is a must for all music-loving, culturally oriented young minds. Gothenburg, Sweden #wowgbg

What We Say…

Nestled in the heart of Slottsskogen park this city festival offers a combination of some of the best international acts currently touring at the moment and a stunning location to enjoy it in.
Way Out West shares many similarities with it UK counterparts with its stellar line ups, amazing atmosphere and quirky installations but one thing it does outdo all other festivals on is its attitude to sustainability. In an effort to reduce their carbon footprint the festival has gone 100% vegetarian! Fear not we’ve been there and checked out this ‘alternative’ food option and its more than alright, its great! Not content with just this they also have an exceptionally high degree of recycling and our second to none when it comes to keeping energy consumption down. Its easy to see why it one the ‘Green Award’ at the European Festival Awards.
