The Dark Knight Rises Premiere

So the plan had been to write/tweet/post live from the biggest film event of the year but in an ironic way we simply couldn’t… many [wanted to] believed (us included) that Batman had used one of his legendary gadgets from his utility belt to jam all mobile signals but unfortunately is was most like down to the sheer volume of people in Leicester Square. With thousands of people descending into the square it was certainly as busy as we’ve seem it and a great atomsphere to be a part of.

Despite a little bit of rain (standard nowadays for British summer) the crowd were certainly treated. The stars of The Dark Knight Rises came out in force giving interviews as well as plenty of autographs and pictures to fans that had patiently waited for hours for the moment to come. Here’s what we captured with the Cut The Cap camera when we weren’t slipping over on the red/black carpet – yes that almost happened!

For the first time that we can rememeber there was not one but TWO red carpets as the film was being screen in both the Odeon and Empire cinemas at the same time. When the carpet split Cut the Cap was lucky enough to be heading in the Odeon cinema where the entire cast (excluding Michael Caine and Gary Oldman) of made up of Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-LevittMarion Cotillard  and of course Christian Bale where on stage as Christopher Nolan himself introduced the film.

And what a film is was! We obviously won’t reveal with twists and turns here but there certainly are plenty of them… and as for the ending – WOW! So should you believe the hype around this film? 1000% YES! Book your tickets and be prepared for quite a ride with the The Dark Knight Rises, out in cinemas July 20th!
