THE OTHER MUSIC ONE: The Blues Kitchen, Camden Town

This year’s Thanksgiving tasty menu at Deep South specialist The Blues Kitchen in Camden Town centres on a feast of buttermilk fried turkey, cornbread and twice-baked mac ’n’ cheese. And don’t forget some New Orleans gumbo to start and sweet pumpkin pie with toasted marshmallows to finish. AND, if you happen to be actually American, take your passport with you and you’ll get a free shot of Wild Turkey Bourbonon the house!
Book tickets (£29.95) and you’ll be treated to live blues from the house band until 1am. The Shoreditch and Brixton venues will also be celebrating.

THE BBQ ONE: Bodean’s, Soho

This is your smoky taste of America. With barbecue outposts across the city £28.95 per person you can be enjoying a Thanksgiving meal that includes a choice of clam chowder, Caesar salad and a quesadilla (with a chicken, pulled pork or veggie filling) to start, followed by traditional turkey, then pumpkin or key lime pie to finsh you off.
