Run-DMC Reuniting for one off show

After more than 10 years apart, Run-DMC are reuniting for a one off performance at the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas this November.

This will be the first time they will have reunited since the tragic death of their producer and DJ Jam Master Jay in 2002.

MC Run and DMC will take to the stage to mark the 10th anniversary since we lost Jam Master Jay and we’ve also been told that a portion of revenues from the event will be donated to the JMJ Foundation for Music, which was set up by the late producer’s wife Terri Corley-Mizell in his memory.Check out the announcement Video here:[embedplusvideo height=”343″ width=”560″ standard=”http://www.youtube.com/v/RECvZmu8k74?fs=1″ vars=”ytid=RECvZmu8k74&width=560&height=343&start=&stop=&rs=w&hd=0&react=1&chapters=&notes=” id=”ep3440″ /]It is still unclear whether there will be more performances planned, but we’ll have to wait and see.Following on from the success of 2pac’s hologram earlier this year at Coachella Festival, We think this could be sign of things to some for deceased artists coming back.

Or will they go with a replacement DJ? Watch this space…
