The news from Cuba is flying in this morning. We only just reported on the Hoyo de Monterrey – Grand Epicure Limited Edition and now we have just received news of the next limited edition for 2013 from Punch.
Punch is one of the oldest Habano brands, founded it in the mid of 19th Century by Don Manuel López of Juan Valle.
The name comes from a humorous magazine that was on the scene at that time and the boxes are surrounded by 19th Century images of cigar making that remain virtually unchanged over a century and a half later.
Punch will be releasing the Serie D’Oro No. 2 (ring gauge 52 x 140 mm in length) which is a figurado –(tapered at one end) vitola specially selected for this Edición Limitada, 2013.
Available in boxes of 25 This Edición Limitada 2013 has been produced in very small quantities, made by Cuba’s most expert rollers in order to create a cigar for the most distinguished smokers.(that would be us we hope)
The Serie D’Oro No. 2, with Punch’s distinct aromatic medium flavour, will be available in the classical Labelled Box of 25, with arrival around the world expected in the next weeks.
