Fresh from Havana, Hunters & Frankau have released images of their much anticipated 2014 UK Habanos Regional Edition cigar, the Por Larrañaga Sobresaliente.
Due to go on sale later this week the cigar measures in at 6 inches with a 53 ring gauge (#tasty)
The Spanish word “Sobresaliente” translates to “Outstanding” and is the vitolade galara (factory name) for a size which was first seen in 2007 as the Partagas Sobresaliente in the Replica de Humidor Antiguo.
Only 200 humidors containing 50 cigars were made and the size remains an extremely rare production as a Habanos.

This is the first time the Sobresaliente vitola has been presented in the Por Larrañaga brand and like the 2007 Regional Edition (Por Larrañaga Magnifico) will be dressed with a special cigar band that H&F re-created from a style and design found adorning the brand at the turn of the 20th century.
The cigars are presented in SBN boxes of 10 and only 5,000 numbered boxes have been produced for exclusive sale in the UK, so get your hands on them fast because when they are gone, they will be GONE!
