Until January, Parabola’s kitchen will play host to the anticipated return of one of the country’s best loved chefs and food writers, Rowley Leigh – who’s New Year’s Eve celebratory tasting menu will include some of his signature dishes through which he made his name at Kensington Place and Le Café Anglais. This year, opulent restaurant Park Chinois will be throwing a theatrical evening to welcome 2017 with a series of sensational performances, music and dancing from 6.30pm until 3am. Two menus, showcasing the finest regional Chinese cuisine will be available, one, from 5.30pm and one from 8pm, both are special multi-course sharing menus with exclusive dishes to make December the 31st a night to remember. The early dining menu, priced at £120 per head will begin with a celebratory glass of Cuveé Pierre Moncuit-Delos, Grand Cu, Blanc de Blancs NV and includes delights such as native lobster shumai, steamed wild seabass with dried red date & lily flower and honey roasted char sui pork. A pineapple crunchy sponge with light mascarpone espuma will round off the evening. The late dining menu will be served from 8pm and includes a half bottle of Bollinger Brand Année 2005 and starts with salt & perpper Scottish langoustines and Iberico pork jasmine tea smoked ribs. Main courses to share include stir-fried Australian rib-eye wagyu barbecue beef with gai lan & lily bulb and steamed king crab with king soy & Chinese rice wine.
