One of the year’s most eagerly anticipated cigars, the Montecristo Double Edmundo, is almost with us. Our friends at HumiBros.com have now opened up their pre-order section and inform us they expect to begin shipping the cigars as of early october. That leaves us with somewhere between 1-3 weeks to receive these beauties in our humidors.
The Montecristo Double Edmundo was announced at this years Habanos Festival in Cuba along with the new Montecristo Petit No.2, as we informed of back then. And it’s been a long 7 months but we finally have an expected release. The Double Edmundo is a beast of a cigar at 6″ x 50 ring gauge and promises that classic Edmundo blend of tobacco leaf we’ve all come to love in a bigger format for even longer enjoyment. This is the third vitola in the Linea Edmundo, joining the Petit Edmundo and, of course, the Edmundo itself. The new vitola’s will come with the stylish new band that Montecristo’s will adorn as of this year and we cant’ wait to be one of the first to try these.
