As a big Michael Mann fan, I am very excited to see the trailer for his latest movie Blackhat, starring Chris Hemsworth.
Described as a Digi-thriller, Hemsworth stars as Nicholas Hathaway, a furloughed hacker convict recruited by a mixed team of American and Chinese law enforcement officials as they hunt a high-level cybercrime network from Chicago to Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Jakarta.
Though the network initially seems to be intent on damaging financial institutions, Hemsworth and co quickly discover that the stakes are much, much higher than that.
Michael Mann has a real trademark way of shooting a movie which I love and cannot wait to see again. His lifelike artistic style of shooting makes you feel like you are actually in the scene, so look forward to being taken away for a couple of hours for a ride in Michael’s car.
Blackhat will release in cinemas February 20th 2015 and also stars Viola Davis & John Ortiz.
