Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

Last night I was sent a copy of Marvel vs. Capcom: Fate of Two Worlds for the Playstation 3.

I have been a BIG Streetfighter fan from the Super Nintendo days (Super Famicom in the US) so this game had big shoes to fill…and it did!

From the opening video I was blown away with the effects, and visuals of the characters. From Ryu and Wolverine to Iron Man, to Hulk, it was pretty impressive.

Unfortunately I didn’t have allot of spare time, so I selected Arcade mode and chose my players (on easy)

Ryu, Wolverine and Spiderman – a winning combination

Unfortunately because it was a PR copy, I didn’t have the instructions on moves, so had to do what most of my family and friends do – press everything and hope for the best.

Being a big Ryu fan, the simple hadoken move wasn’t the same as it has been. If I knew how I eventually did it, I would share but my advice is to just press everything and it will all work out.

Within 15 minutes I was fighting Galactus and completed the game (it was on easy)

I recommend this as a great purchase, however it’s more of a game to play with friends or online as playing a multi-player game on your own is no fun.

If anyone owns StreetFigther 4, this is like that but on an adrenalin charge of about 15 cans of Red bull.

The game is released on February 18th on Xbox and PS3.
