As a fan of 90s R&B I can’t help but get excited around the first look at the upcoming Aaliyah biopic.
Aaliyah was one of the biggest R&B singers of her time until she lost her life in a plane crash on the way home from filming the music video for ‘Rock The Boat.
There has been much scrutiny over who should play the singer with Alexandra Shipp stepping into the ‘Back and Forth’ singers shoes Timberland boots.
“Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B” will premiere on Saturday 15th November in the USA. No word if we will get it here on UK shores.
No doubt the bloke that I used to buy her CD’s from in the 90s will have it on DVD by 16th.
