The World Cup has officially kicked off and organic German sausage vendor, Herman ze German has already scored a winning goal by creating a wurst to help Londoner’s celebrate the games in Brazil this summer.
The guest wurst, which has been named the “Mango Chilli Bratwurst”, is made to an authentic German recipe using the freshest free-range meat sourced from family-run, quality butchers in Germany’s Black Forest, with a decidedly tropical taste thanks to chunks of fresh mango. If that wasn’t enough, Herman is also inviting World Cup fans to either of his two central London homes to watch all the games as they happen. Herman Ze German Villiers Street will be showing the games on TV screens in the shop while over in Old Compton Street, Sohoites will be able to enjoy every game on the big screen in Ze Basement while enjoying ze best wurst in town.
Table reservations in Ze Basement will require a £10 per person deposit which can be redeemed against food and drink purchases on the night or fans can just walk up and try their luck.
