These Cuban cigars have been rolled and stored for a minimum of 5-8 years, in perfect conditions, enabling them to gain shades and complexity without losing their initial characteristics.
Within the range there are two cigars: Romeo y Julieta Pirámides Añejados measuring in with a 52 ring gauge x 156 mm long and Montecristo Churchills Añejados measuring in with a 47 ring gauge x 178 mm long.
Both are new products which will be available as a special edition in limited quantities around the globe. Excited? We are.
Through the aging process the cigars have become rounder and mellower to the palate, earning hints of a more woody taste thanks to the years of rest in cedar.
Habanos Añejados cigars have been stored in their original boxes, which remained unlabeled during the entire ageing process.
These cigars are then presented in labelled boxes, with a double ring, one of course “Añejados” and with a vitolina describing the concept. On the bottom of the box the date when the Habanos were made can be verified. “Revisado” (Checked) is also stamped on the bottom of the box, since 100% of the boxes have been opened and all the cigars have been checked one by one.
Romeo y Julieta Pirámides Añejados and Montecristo Churchills Añejados will be available at the outlets around the world during the first quarter of 2015. As soon as we hear more information on these, we’ll be sure to share.
