Film Poster Friday is back and this time it’s the first official poster for the upcoming RoboCop reboot starring Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Jackie Earle Haley, and Jay Baruchel.
Originally Cut The Cap HQ was split down the middle with the idea that RoboCop was being rebooted, however after seeing the trailer, we are all officially excited!
For those that don’t know the story, here’s the plot:
The year is 2028 and OmniCorp is at the centre of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.
RoboCop is set to serve into cinemas February 7th, 2014 and here’s the trailer to get you excited:
