Now that Jan is over, it’s time to start planning your summer which means one thing – FESTIVAL SEASON, and they don’t come much better than Mighty Hoopla, taking place at London’s Victoria Park on 4th June.
This one day extravaganza sees a line up including All Saints & Sophie Ellis Bextor headlining
After 2016’s inaugural edition which took place at Butlin’s Bogno Regis, Hoopla is returning in 2017 to East London’s Victoria Park bringing together the ultimate celebration of pop and alternative club culture.
Headliners include: All Saints, Sink The Pink Soundsystem who feature a bespoke revue style show featuring Sophie Ellis Bextor, Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon, Pump Up The Jam-ers Technotronic feat. Ya Kid K, Snap! (who hit No.1 with The Power and Rhythm is A Dancer) and ‘Where Love Lives’ hit-maker Alison Limerick forming a stella line up worthy of any festival aficionado.
Guilty Pleasures remains London’s most immersive, unapologetic and unimaginably entertaining club night around. Taking to the stage at Camden’s iconic KOKO every month for a night of decadent debauchery and diverse pop classics.. Presenting the new pop event concept, Mighty Hoopla will be packed with relentlessly energetic DJs, bedazzling dancers, live bands and speciality performers galore including the ten piece brass band Old Dirty Brasstards.
Other club nights making up this year’s Hoopla are the premier power ballad night Ultimate Power; the bingo party that’s taken the UK by storm – Bongo’s Bingo; huge karaoke night Masseoke; female only R&B night R&She, We Love Pop (does what it says on the tin); East End performance bar The Glory will take over the bandstand and many more troupes and dancers to be announced who spend most of their Monday’s picking glitter out of their hair.
Tickets are available now via The Mighty Hoop-la’ website with earlybird tickets from £25
