Event: Cigar & Rum Pairing @ Boisdale of Canary Wharf
When Boisdale of Canary Wharf, or any of the other Boisdale’s (Belgravia, Bishopsgate, The Lamb at the Hindon) throw a cigar shin dig, we know it’s wise to pay attention. That’s why we just had to let you know about the next hoe-down to go down…
Boisdale of Canary Wharf are holding a cigar & rum tasting event (our personal favourite type of event…Olympics? Who?) where they will be pairing the Ramon Allones Specially Selected vitola with some Appleton Estate rum.
may have read our latest Ramon Allones review, the Allones Extra Edicion Limitada 2011. And if you were one of the lucky ones to have caught that review you would have noticed that I was suitably impressed with the Allones Extra. You’ll have to click here to catch that if you missed it. Could the Specially Selected follow suit and make its way in to our 70% RH Spanish Cedar hearts? Why not pop down to Boisdale of Canary Wharf on Monday 9th July to try this interesting pairing?
Cuban Cigar And Appleton Rum & Cocktail Tasting
MONDAY, JULY 9, 2012 AT 6:00PM
Appleton Estate rum expressions and cocktails TBC.
Ramon Allones Specially Selected 4 7/8” (124mm) x 50 ring gauge
The rich taste profile of this robusto sized cigar is rich and full bodied, yet exceptionally well balanced, ensuring that it does not become over powering. The flavour profile typically includes notes of exotic herbs, roasted nuts and cocoa beans. While the wider gauge allows for a cooler smoke that effortlessly frames the tones of honey and dark chocolate to be found in the blend. This is a refined, rewarding and exceptionally rich and rewarding example of the Habanos. Ramon Allones is classified as Full flavoured.
Members: £15; Non Members: £25. Bookings with Valerie Morrison (0207 715 5815; firstname.lastname@example.org)
