Life can be tough going. Work, well that can be pretty hard at times. Girlfriends/wives they want their piece of you too! So we ask the question, why shouldn’t we take a bit of time to relax and treat ourselves every once in a while? (Plus we’re pretty sure no lady ever complained about you looking fresh and well turned out!)
With this in mind we did a bit of research and found that you don’t need to set aside a huge amount of time (a lot can be achieved in half and hour it turns out!), its not that expensive and the results are you look and feel a hell of a lot better when you come out the other side!
In the not so distant past we took our own advice and headed down to Aveda Men’s new Grooming Destination to get a Express Refresh Facial and a little trim to keep the barnet in keep for a few more weeks.
Did we feel like we were crossing a line? Maybe… did we care? No. In today’s day and age looking after yourself both internally and externally is the way forward!
THE PLACE: On arrival we were gowned up and offer a choice of tea, water or beer… someone has thought about this and knows how to make a good impression, tea please! Entering the area you are greeted with all the style points of a classic barbers shop with the added bonus of a raft of top end grooming products.
THE SERVICE: We can’t fault it. Stel was great from start to finish – firstly offering consultative advice on the hairstyle and delivering a great cut whilst the facial was both very relaxing and invigorating. The 2 treatments ended with a wash and style just the way we like it.
As predicted we felt pretty fly leaving…
