£40,000 Regius Cigar sold in London

We’ve all been there! Had a spare £40k to spend in a cigar shop right?!? No? Yeah same here but we can dream.

Well, Specialist cigar merchant Alfie Turmeaus of Mayfair (part of the C.Gars Ltd Group owned by the main man Mitchell Orchant) recently sold the world’s most expensive cigar for a staggering £40,000 to Callum Jones, a young entrepreneur who made his fortune in the coffee business. (That’s a lot of Latte’s)

The single cigar is handmade from the finest tobaccos by Regius Cigars Ltd and to celebrate the purchase CEO of Regius Akhil Kapacee was on hand to light it up in person. Now that’s service!

This single boxed double corona measures in at 7 5/8” in length with a 49 ring gauge and told it has an incredible smooth sweet flavour profile from the first to the last puff.

“We are delighted that Callum has decided to enjoy the best,” said Mr Kapacee as he handed over the unique cigar. “Not only will he enjoy this cigar, but we will personally fly him to Nicaragua where he can see first-hand how the cigars are made.

It will be the trip of a lifetime for a cigar lover. We will also blend and roll 1000 special Regius cigars to Callum’s personal flavour, size and strength profile.”

Upon lighting the cigar, Callum said: “This is one of the best cigars I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I’m looking forward to finding out how these cigars are made”.

Apparently Callum also enjoys exotic cars, skiing and fine wine. Cigars are his latest passion, and what a way to enjoy your passion!

Mitchell Orchant, owner of Alfie Turmeaus of Shepherd’s Market, Mayfair, was also on hand as a cigar sommelier for Callum, personally cutting and lighting this splendid cigar for Callum.

Regius Cigars is a boutique cigar company based in London and distributed in the USA by SAG Imports, Hong Kong by The Pacific Cigar Company and in Germany by Wolfertz GMBH. The company supplies around 1,000 specialist tobacconists worldwide.
