On 3rd & 4th April the UK’s first ever Mauritius Rum Festival is taking place in London.
Having sampled a fair few Mauritian rums over the years we are extremely excited that the most popular rum category outside of the Caribbean is getting its own festival at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th April 2014.
Leading brands will be displaying the best of Mauritian Rum including Green Island, Pink Pigeon, Tilambic, Chamarel, New Grove, Penny Blue plus the Citronella rums from Rhumerie des Mascareignes, which received the Gold Award during the Berlin Rumfest in 2013.
The Mauritius Rum Festival is on its first international outing since its inception in Mauritius in August 2013 has been carefully curated for the industry to taste and discover this burgeoning market and appreciate the best serve this side of the Atlantic.
Expect tasting sessions, pairings, cocktail competitions, special guests with in-depth seminars from Global Rum Ambassador, Ian Burrell.
There’ll even be a fashion fiesta will as part of the program so you can get the look
