The First official image form The Wolverine has clawed its way through the net (get it)
The photograph features what seems to be a leaner Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine, a role which he has played in five previous X-Men films including his 2 word cameo in X-Men: First Class. (We won’t repeat what he said)
The Wolverine is described as more of a “standalone film” than a direct sequel to 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and finds Logan in Japan as he confronts “a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed”.
The Wolverine is scheduled to slice through cinemas in July 2013.
The first film received mixed reviews and was subject to a leak fiasco, however we still really enjoyed it.
