One thing every cigar smoker desires is more pit stops to pick up cigars from, and thanks legendary cigar retailer Sautter we now have one more location to add to the list.
Sautter, famous for their Mayfair cigar shop on Mount street, have just expanded by opening a new store in Knightsbridge, a stones throw away from the tube station and Harrods department store.
With the news of its opening, it only made sense that we went down to check it out.
With an open plan style shop, Sautter Knightsbridge boast a giant table in the centre of the shop for cigar aficionados to smoke around and converse.
The walk in humidor is located at the back of the store and boasts a very good selection of smokes to choose from. We are told that they are slowly filling the humidor and adding new lines each day, but there was already ample choice. If you look carefully there are also some very unique hand rolled cigars which have to be seen to be believed.
We opted for the Trinidad Reyes, mainly due to lack of time we had before having to shoot off, but while we smoked and sipped on a glass of bubbly we were informed that there would be some great events coming up including cigar film screenings, offering smokes and cigar relevant movies. (Can it get any better?)
Sautter Knightsbridge is a refreshing new shop to see open that caters for large groups and what is great is that everyone can sit around the table rather than grabbing whatever seat you can find. (There’s nothing worse than having to sit behind your friend in a cigar sampling lounge due to lack of space)
Sautter is a store we will definitely be spending some time at in the future, and with a pub round the corner – everyone’s a winner.
