London 2012 – How the Olympics impacts the Newham Community

With all eyes on the Opening ceremony last night, Cut The Cap were lucky enough to see how the Olympics impacted on the local east London Community in a positive way.

Newham Live is a festival that runs during the Olympic Games at West Ham Park which is located minutes from the Olympic stadium.

They are running a series of events from music to dancers, as well as hosting a massive screen to show all the games.

Check out some of the pictures below, including some amazing street dancers, great food and police escorting a youth out the park (it is East London)

Newham Live is running throughout the games and is free to get in.
