Today we are hearing that rapper Jay-Z has taken the hip hop life up a level by inviting a professional cigar roller on the Legends Of The Summer world tour.
Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) is touring with Justin Timberlake and will be touching down in London for Wireless Festival in July.
It’s reported that he is putting his money into a “gentlemen’s club” backstage at all of his dates.
The Sun reported a source in the camp as saying: “Jay met this cigar expert at a friend’s private party recently. He had been hired to roll cigars for guests in a smoking room.
“They were chatting for ages about the origins of tobacco and all the different types and then Jay-Z offered to have him on board for the tour dates. It goes well with the nature of the tour where there’s going to be a lot of whisky and cigars.”
Jay-Z has been a cigar smoker for many years and from the look of Justin Timberlakes latest video Suit & Tie, they seem to be re-creating a Rat Pack style vibe which goes hand in hand with Cigars and spirits!
Jay-Z has been spotted in the past smoking a Hoyo De Monterrey and when he graced the cover of Cigar Aficionado he mentioned he liked Montecristo’s, so hopefully the freshly rolled cigars will go down well.
