Turns out you may not be the only one who strongly agrees the iPad is cooler than the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
In a bizarre statement during the Apple vs Samsung IP infringement case here in the UK, Judge Colin Birss has decided the Galaxy Tab is simply not as cool as the iPad to infringe on Apple’s design. His main points were that the Sammy Galaxy Tabs“do not have the same understated and extreme simplicity which is possessed by the Apple design,” and on that bombshell awarded a win to Samsung.
Tim Cook will undoubtedly be thrown off completely in whether or not to add Judge Briss to his Christmas card list.
Apple now have 21 days to appeal the decision which undoubtedly they will, spurred on by their success last week in banning sales of the Galaxy Nexus smartphone which has now come back on sale after some minor revision.
