Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Maire Review

As any UK cigar smoker will know one of the biggest problems we have (apart from having enough time to smoke) is having the right weather to smoke in.

Today I took a trip to JJ Fox in central London to pick up a Christmas present and while I was there I thought I would pick up a smoke to enjoy on my walk back to work.

After searching through the extensive range and fighting the urge to not go back to work and enjoy a Montecristo 520 in their sampling area, I decided to go for a Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Maire.

Being a fan of Hoyo de Monterrey I was very excited however as I left the shop I found myself in the pouring rain with 2 options:
A) Put the cigar away for another day, or B) soldier on…. So I did!

A small but packed little cigar it delivered the signature woody and creamy flavours I knew and loved with a Number 2 and a double corona. However I found the cigar was consistent throughout offering a smooth taste.
From the beginning, the flavours were there and I found the cigar was easy to smoke with a quick combustion.
As I strolled through Bond Street on my way back to work, I stopped to take in the hustle and bustle of Christmas shoppers and it seemed for me, times had slowed down, giving me time to enjoy the Hoyo du Maire how it should be.

The Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Maire is strongly recommended for those with only around 25 minutes of smoking pleasure, which in London is known as ‘EVERYDAY’

Here’s the Specs:

Country: Cuba
Brand: Hoyo de Monterrey
Name: Le Hoyo du Maire
Length: 4 inches
Ring Guage: 30
I thoroughly recommend these and will no doubt be ordering a box to enjoy when the snow comes.
Not bad for less than a tenner. Grab them here from Humibros.com
