Just when you thought you had enough cigars in your humidor, Habanos S.A have unveiled their new 2013 Regional Edition exclusively produced for the Cuban market.
The presentation coincided with the celebration of the 22nd Habanos Marketing and Sales workshop in Cuba.
The ceremony took place in Havana on June 18th at The Habana Libre Hotel and was attended by numerous Habanos executives, worldwide distributors and representatives of La Casa del Habanos’s franchise network in Cuba.
The Infantes Regional Edition of El Rey del Mundo brand – is presented in labelled box of which only 5,000 boxes, individually numbered and will go on sale exclusively in the Cuban market in the upcoming weeks.
El Rey del Mundo, the Habanos brand chosen on this occasion, was created in 1882 by Antonio Allones, who had been established already for more than 30 years in La Habana when founding this brand. From the very beginning,
El Rey del Mundo had great success thanks to its particular name. Despite its reduced range, its still enjoyed among Habanos smokers because of its quality and balanced flavour.
This vitola has been included for the first and only time in the portfolio of Rey del Mundo brands in this Regional Edition made Exclusively for Cuba so if you manage to pick some up, make sure you save or cherish them.
Infantes are destined to surely become a prized Habanos for those who wish to smoke a special Habanos production.
This Regional Edition is made with the classic brand blend characterized by a light to medium flavour. All the Habanos have been made “Totalmente a Mano, con Tripa Larga” – (“Totally Handmade, with Long Filler”), with filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco plantations in the region of Pinar del Río*, the world’s most prestigious tobacco zone, and produced by expert Cuban cigar rollers.
The new Infantes vitola will be available in its classic labelled box at selected sales points of the Cuban market in the upcoming weeks, so if anyone is going over there, pick us up a box….PLEASEEEEEE!!!
