Ring the good news bell! Our favourite Dutch vodka producing family want to celebrate… The reason? 325 years of family distilling expertise and heritage at the Ketel One Vodka distillery – that’s why!
The Nolet family are hosting a series of family-style suppers at the historic Brunswick House, with chef Jackson Boxer. The evenings will consist of a five-course dinner designed & prepared by Jackson, with a paired cocktail menu by Ketel One – all for the price of £45!
Ketel One Vodka is inviting guests to gather around the dining table for a series of exclusive family inspired supper clubs at the historic Brunswick House on Wednesday 25th May and Friday 27th May. To celebrate not only the family you’re born into but also the family you make, the supper clubs provide the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with either family members or friends in a unique and urban South London setting.
Marking the 325th anniversary of the Ketel One distillery, which has been in the same family for 11 generations, Ketel One has worked with renowned chef Jackson Boxer to design a bespoke menu inspired by family dishes and the heritage of Ketel One. With specially paired Ketel One Vodka cocktails, the supper clubs are set to be a celebration of communal dining and the moments that bring people together.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with Ketel One on a number of occasions and always look forward to what they have to offer. The why is pretty simple really… Ketel One Vodka is a sophisticated blend, crafted from small batches, using copper pot stills at the Ketel One distillery in Schiedam, Holland. (The original copper pot still, ‘Distilleer Ketel 1’, is still used today and is the inspiration behind Ketel One’s name). The distillery has been in the Nolet family since it was founded, and a member of the family still approves each final production before bottling.
Honouring this history and heritage, and hailing from a foodie family himself, Jackson Boxer is the grandson of cookery writer Arabella, and the son of Charlie, novelist and owner of Italo deli. His menu will champion fresh, seasonal ingredients whilst featuring simple, modern takes on classics. The dishes served include Squid Alla Vodka with Caviar to start, Dry-Aged Brisket with a Horseradish Pannacotta as a main and to finish Alphonso Mango with Almond Milk & Rice.
Each of the supper clubs will be set against the dramatic backdrop of Brunswick House, an eighteenth-century mansion with a history of its own. Once home to the eponymous Duke, it is now an architectural emporium and home to Jackson’s Brunswick House Restaurant. Taking over the Parlour and Library rooms, the supper clubs are the perfect place to gather with family and friends for an evening of delicious cocktails, delightful food, and even better company. As they say in Holland, proost!
For those who are unable to attend the event but still want to be part of Ketel One’s celebration of this triumphant milestone, a limited “325 Anniversary” edition 1L copper coloured bottle is available to buy now.
