Black Cow, known as the world’s smoothest vodka, will be popping up with its Espresso Martini bar in partnership with Tom Dixon’s Coal Office restaurant this summer.
Located outside Tom Dixon’s shop in Coal Drops Yard, the Food Hub Café is in the heart of one of London’s most sought after hangouts.
The pop-up is the ideally situated for those wanting to cool off with an al-fresco cocktail with friends, and the perfect pit-stop for those summer evening strolls along the canal.
The unique and striking pop-up has been created using a 1956 Hydra-glide Harley Davidson which has a wooden box sidecar operating as the bar. Producing delicious, chilled Black Cow Espresso Martinis on tap, there will also be a range of natural vodka sodas available. If people are feeling peckish, they can also pick up a selection of food from Coal Office’s Food Hub Café, including its new stuffed Kubalah (an Israeli take on a sandwich).
The award-winning Black Cow Vodka, which was first launched by Paul Archard and dairy farmer Jason Barber in 2012, is the only vodka made entirely from whey from grass-grazed cow’s milk leftover from the cheese-making process. This is fermented to convert the milk sugars into alcohol that is distilled, blended and filtered through coconut-shell charcoal, producing an exceptionally smooth vodka with a unique creamy character.
Bet you never thought you’d be drinking a vodka made like that!
The Black Cow Vodka Pop-Up bar will be open throughout the Summer season, Thursday – Sunday, 12 noon – 7pm. Cocktails will be priced at £9.50.
