Why You Might Just Need Some Personal Training In Your Life…

So this is where is gets hard… week 4 of the 2013 new you. Whether you’re a seasoned gym goer or new to getting fit Mr Motivation may have taken an exit stage left and your wondering if those love handles are all that bad or do I really need that 6 pack…

Well the answer is a resounding yes! And why can we be sure of that because YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF! The good news is that you don’t have to be alone in your quest to achieve yor fitness goal whatever that maybe – everyone can benefit from getting a personal trainer and you can quote us on that! You may have seen a few weeks ago we posted an article on the benefits of supplements so we thought we’d follow up the iSupp article by keeping our promise of actually training…

So last week we looked in the diary and there it was ‘Personal Training with Dan’. Was a hangover going to stop us? Nope! Was snow going to stop us? Nope! 1 trainer, 2 Cut The Cappers, 8 exercises, the elements and a shed load of enthusiasm made for 1 hour of exercise!

Dan had set up a circuit for each of us to work on that consisted of…

  • Warm up from jogging on spot then increasing intensity, then
  • Person A – Boxing with Dan throughout person B’s exercises
  • Person B – 12 press ups on TRX, 12 Rope throwdowns 12 standing to Prone,
  • Spider Crawl 10 metre.
  • Pull ups 5, then 4, then 3, then 2 then 1. (5 secs rest in between)
  • Finisher workout (2 minutes) 30 secs burpees, 30 secs star jumps, 30 secs high knees, 30 secs sprinting quick feet.
  • Core workout and stretching to finish.

After the session we sat down and spoke to Dan, (owner of DynaFit) and he answered some of our questions that might help you take that leap of faith…

Why might you get a trainer?

Keeping fit and healthy can sometimes feel like a chore and an inconvenience in a busy, hectic lifestyle. Sometimes motivation can not be achieved alone, so by training with a Personal Trainer, you can be pushed more intensively, monitored carefully to ensure exercises are being performed correctly and to advise on nutritional goals to increase your physical appearance and performance.

What’s your philosophy on training?

What I aim to do in a training session is to make sure I keep things fresh and exciting so you never have the opportunity to get bored of exercise. By using numerous pieces of equipment ranging from TRX, Kettlebells, Ropes, Boxing Kit and Mats, as well as other pieces of equipment, I set up training sessions to get those muscles burning. Whether its training one-on-one or training with a friend, I can help you get the results you want within a month of disciplined training and diet. You need to be 100% committed to wanting to achieve your goals and I’ll show you 100% back.

Any parting words for are newly enthused readers?

Ultimately fitness is a lifestyle choice and remember, if you’ve got time to be on Facebook, You’re got time to exercise!
