Martin Miller’s Gin x Texture | A Collab You MUST Experience

Well this is something new, and an experience you won’t get every day… but one that we can highly recommend!
Martin Miller’s Gin has partnered with Scandinavian restaurant, Texture, and floral design expert, Fabienne Egger, to create a multi-sensory, immersive installation in the restaurant’s private dining room, designed to transport diners to the wild Icelandic countryside.

Playing on the Michelin-starred restaurant’s name, the Icelandic ‘textures’ include volcanic rock, flowers, faux fur, Icelandic moss and birch, with a wood and moss table centrepiece infused with botanical spray to complete the multi-sensory experience.

Designed to bring to life one of the unique characteristics of Martin Miller’s Gin, the installation celebrates the pure Icelandic spring water which is blended with the England-distilled gin to give the spirit its distinctively smooth taste. With a further nod to Iceland’s influence on Martin Miller’s Gin, the room also includes wooden accents to imitate the barrels used to barrel age the brand’s Moons range in Borgarnes, Iceland.

Available until 21 December 2019, the private dining experience includes an exclusive four-course tasting menu of delicious Icelandic-inspired fare, created by Michelin-starred Head Chef Agnar Sverrisson. Each dish has been paired with a Martin Miller’s Gin cocktail, to demonstrate the breadth of flavour and versatility within the Martin’s Miller’s Gin range.
From start to finish, every dish and drink was superb. Personal favourite was the salmon – NEXT LEVEL.

The four-course menu, priced at £130pp, is available for bookings of eight to 14 people and includes:

  • Appetiser, paired with Martin Miller’s Gin perfect serve
  • Icelandic salmon, paired with a refreshing dill-infused Martin Miller’s Gin cocktail
  • Icelandic lamb, paired with a mellow, medium dry, Westbourne Martini
  • Coconut trio, paired with a sweet, short cocktail made with Martin Miller’s 9 Moons

Whilst the installation and menu will launch in celebration of London Restaurant Festival from 1-31 October, once the countdown to Christmas begins in November, the installation will be updated with festive touches to make the experience even more magical for yuletide get-togethers.

This collaboration with Texture Restaurant is the latest in a number of interactive experiences from Martin Miller’s Gin, including the ‘strawberry fields’ takeover at The Aviary London this summer and a springtime installation of citrus botanicals and florals at the South Place Hotel terrace to showcase its exclusive new drinks menu.
