Cut The Cap’s favourite sausage shop Herman ze German is officially getting in on National Burger Day act (27th August if you were wondering) by launching the new permanent ‘ze Burger Menu’ in their Charlotte Street branch.
The specially created ze Chicken Melt should rouse even the most traditional burger fans with panko breaded chicken schnitzel, sauerkraut-cheddar melt, spicy sweet chilli mayo, pickled onions and smoked bacon or ze Smokey Beast with panko breaded pork schnitzel, mature cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, smoked bacon and Herman’s homemade BBQ sauce.

The mouth-watering ze Chicken Melt and ze Smokey Beast will be served with Herman’s paprika salted fries. Although loyal to the wurst, Herman’s claim their burgers will give any beef patty a run for its money – this is a menu not to be messed with its Lecker (German for delicious)!
Herman ze German’s dishes are made from the finest produce and ingredients, all wurst are gluten & lactose-free featuring the Bratwurst, Chilli Beef and Bockwurst and now the new ze Burger menu with meat sourced from Turner and George who deliver high quality rare breed meat. Not-only-this, Herman’s famous Currywurst and the new Vegetarian Wurst are also on the menu. All sausages are grilled to perfection served with toppings of choice including sauerkraut and delicious crispy onions. The food menu is washed down with an extensive beer list featuring rare and exclusive brews from native Germany including Herman’s very own Market Brew, a unfiltered Kellerbier (4.8%) in Herman’s ze Basement Bar in Charlotte Street.
