Cohiba 1966 Edición Limitada 2011

When you say 1966, most people will talk about England’s win in the world cup. However as of today 1966 also refers to the Cohiba limited edition.

News has started surfacing that the The Cohiba 1966 Edición Limitada 2011, a dark, oily and powerful Cuban cigar, is finally ready for release.

The cigars were featured in the February and today Habanos S.A., announced today that the cigar was coming to cigar shops in “days.”

The cigar measures 6 1/2 inches long with a 52 ring gauge and is reminiscent of the Cohiba Behike BHK trio of cigars. (which I am yet to try but still haven’t been sold on them)

The Cohiba 1966 is a size known in Cuban cigar factories as cañonazo especial. Cohiba 1966 Edición Limitada 2011 cigars will come in boxes of 10, surrounded by a colorful outer cardboard box emblazoned with the distinctive colors of the Cohiba brand.

Hopefully I’ll get to sample one of these soon so will let you know how it goes….however I wonder if it will just be another gimmick to sell over priced Cuban cigars
