Gaucho: Electro Brunch

Brunch, that weekend staple for so many, is more popular than ever and that has meant there is choice aplenty.
Cut The Cap is here to help work through that choice with a review of Gaucho’s Electro Brunch.

Let’s set the scene… Imagine a fusion of cool beats, melodic tunes and bassy rhythms whilst you feast your way throughout a delicious brunch menu, with dishes including steak & eggs, chivito sandwich and an opportunity to blend your own juice.

Like you’d expect with anything Gaucho does our first impression is that this is very well put together.
The music is pumping creating a really good atmosphere but be aware, this is not background music and really is part of the experience.
Our waiter comes to the table and explains that all dishes and beverages are included in the price for 2 hours, and we are encouraged to indulge ourselves – we like his style!

Bloody Mary to start with and a good look at the ample options

Now to the business end of things… the tasting. Each dish comes as a (large) bite-sized version to help you experience as much as possible. We focused and tried to make our way through the entire offering and got pretty close to completing that!

Our must-try list has Steak and Eggs (we are in Gaucho after all!), oven baked chorizo sausage with plum tomato, egg and mushroom – mini fry-up winner and smashed avocado on toast with bacon bits.

But truth be told all the food we had was great and top this up with free following champagne we left feeling energised and full! 2 hours well spent.
